I began piano lessons later in life. I already played by ear and composed my own songs, but I wanted to learn sight-reading and technique, and develop a well-rounded skillset in piano.
Now I feel limitless and motivated, thanks to Tia’s patience and encouragement. She shares her knowledge of piano in a way I understand, and gives me tools so I can work through any challenge I face while practicing, such as taking exams and studying theory.
I look forward to every lesson I have with Tia. Her love for the beauty of music shines through, deepening my own passion for playing piano.​.. to the extent that I now want to be a piano teacher.
